Class-approved planned maintenance, condition monitoring and budget discipline — the core of keeping a ship earning.
A named superintendent is assigned to each vessel and attends her at least twice a year, plus every dry-docking and major repair. Between attendances the ship is managed through a class-approved planned maintenance system, monthly machinery performance review, lube oil and vibration trending, and a defect register that nothing drops out of.
Operating budgets are built bottom-up from the PMS and the vessel's own history rather than from a fleet template. Owners receive monthly OPEX against budget with narrative on every variance above 5%, and no significant unbudgeted expenditure is committed without written owner approval.
